About the Therapist

Meet the Therapist

My name is Rose Glaser. I've been working as a massage therapist, bodywork practitioner, and educator since 1995. My journey started with massage school, and from there, I delved into myofascial bodywork and trigger point therapy through an apprenticeship program. I also completed an intensive apprenticeship program in myofascial bodywork and trigger point therapy before becoming a practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method in 2005. As of September 2021, I completed a certification course in Manual Lymphatic Drainage using the Vodder Method.

Before diving into the world of massage, I pursued music with a focus on the piano and dabbled in metalworking. I also had a stint as a grill cook (I can still make a mean Philly cheese steak sandwich) and worked as an inventory control manager at a metal manufacturing company while raising my young children.

As an artist with a background in piano and metalworking, I bring a unique perspective to understanding structure and patterns. I observe and listen to the strain patterns and functioning of your body and movement, striving to bring them into greater balance.

My approach combines my knowledge of anatomy, hands-on techniques, movement, music, art, and more than 25 years of experience. I've developed a unique style that can take you to a deeper level of health, self-awareness, and inner connection. I have also met some incredible people who have not only taught me about the human spirit but also helped me grow as a practitioner.

Why does this method work?

Your muscles and connective tissues form a complex and responsive system finely attuned to your movements and interactions with your environment. They act as messengers, skillfully signaling when you are unwell, fatigued, undernourished, or dealing with inflammation.

These crucial tissues need specialized care, including physical maintenance, nourishment, and restorative attention to consistently meet the demands of modern life. My work involves thoroughly assessing the condition of these tissues, identifying areas of concern, and understanding how your body responds to its surroundings. Following that, I engage in a collaborative conversation with you to determine the most suitable techniques to align with your goals.
